You will enjoy a half-hour tour with a friendly guide, who will teach you about the original Globe, London in 1599 and give you some context for Shakespeare’s plays – what influenced him, where he was living when he wrote, what theatres he wrote for etc. You will also hear about the 1990s reconstruction of the original theatre, and the methods used to keep it faithful to the original.
