The watch displays the time in Roman numerals around the inside and outside of the watch. Pressing the button on the side of the watch opens the watch to reveal the white face with black numerals as well as some of the timekeeping mechanism.

Even when the watch is closed the Woodford mechanism can still be seen threw a small front window. This makes a great feature as you can see all the cogs and springs working as they keep time.
