Godparents
The modern the role of Godparent has become more of a friend and mentor than a spiritual guide. In the early years of the Christian Church, a Godparent was often the "sponsor" who introduced an adult to the faith.

It is customary for the Godparents to give their new  godchild a Gift. A Godchild Gift can be a personalised item such as a Personalised Crystal Christening Bible.  Also it is normal for the parents to give out Godparent Gifts from the godchild.
