This adoption gift pack helps the conservation of the Great British Falklands Penguins.

Volunteer Point is home to 1200 adult King Penguins with around 350 chicks and is one of the most popular tourist attractions of the Falkland Islands. Over 1000 tourists travel to this remote spot between November and March. Your adoption money is used to appoint a warden to prevent disturbance to the King penguins which are particularly susceptible and can often lead to them abandoning their one egg. Funds are also used to provide research into the penguins diet, population and breeding success which is then used to provide reliable advice on how best to manage and maintain this thriving colony when many other colonies are decreasing.
